Just the thought that people have never gone to a Disney Park, or never will, makes me want to cry. Every one deserves a trip to be blown away by the beauty, countless details, and the pure magic of it all.

Frozen is an upcoming Walt Disney Animation Studios film, set to be released November 27, 2013. Frozen is an adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen ’s fairytale The Snow Queen. This would be WDFA’s second Andersen-inspired feature, the first being The Little Mermaid.

SynopsisWhen Anna is cursed by her estranged sister, the cold-hearted Snow Queen, Anna’s only hope of reversing the curse is to survive a perilous but thrilling journey across an icy and unforgiving landscape. Joined by a rugged, thrill-seeking outdoorsman, his one-antlered reindeer and a hapless snowman, Anna must race against time, conquer the elements and battle an army of menacing snowmen if she ever hopes to melt her frozen heart.”

I’m really looking forward to this one :))

So intrigued by the first character design :D

EXCUSE ME. IS THIS HOW THEY MAKE ANIMATION MOVIES BECAUSE IT REALLY CONFUSES ME BECAUSE I NEVER UNDERSTAND HOW THEY DO IT BUT OMG IS THIS THE ANSWE I’VE BEEN LOOKING FOR HELP ME

It’s so cool!! Just think each animation team was given a character/characters and these teams hand drew every character, every facial expression, every movement, then each character in the scene was transferred over to animation cells and painted and then placed on the background frame by frame.

So much work goes into creating a hand drawn animated feature, that you really can’t fully appreciate all the work without knowing a least a little bit about the process. It’s amazing!

If I were skilled enough and hand drawn animation was still done a lot I would definitely loved to have been an animator. :)
